What is a brushless ESC?

Brushless ESC systems create three-phase AC power, like a variable frequency drive, to run brushless motors. Brushless motors are popular with radio-controlled aeroplane hobbyists because of their efficiency, strength, longevity and light weight compared to traditional brushed motors.

Do brushless motors need ESC?

Brushless ESC systems create three-phase AC power, like a variable frequency drive, to run brushless motors. Brushless motors are popular with radio-controlled aeroplane hobbyists because of their efficiency, strength, longevity and lightweight compared to traditional brushed motors.

It is generally recommended that the ESC is more significant than double the current of the motor: like the product, ESC-24V-30A can be used with TD4.8/TDS3.4/TDS6/TDS7

How do I connect the ESC to the motor?

We need a motor, ESC, receiver and battery for a complete assembly. Also available plus our propeller for a finished product.

Recommended Hobbywater waterproof ESC
1. Intelligent: you can set the functions to suit your needs, unique circuit design, anti-interference
2. Compatibility: optimised firmware, no setup required, extremely easy to use
3. ASCF (Active Switching Current Continuation): higher efficiency and lower heat generation of ESCs
4. Multiple protection functions: abnormal voltage protection, overheating protection, loss of throttle signal protection, making the ESC more reliable
