Motor without cable?

As there are some motors with cables ,such as D5050,D5064 Some of our brushless motors without pre-installed cables, like the D2216, D2838, D5060, D3130 and D5085, you’ll need to connect them to an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) correctly. Here’s a simple guide on how to handle this:

Connecting to ESC:

Three ESC Cables: Connect these to the three motor pins. The order does not matter initially, as brushless motors and ESCs are typically designed to handle connections in any sequence.

Soldering the Cables:

No Specific Order: You can solder the three cables from the ESC to the three pins of the motor in any order. If you experience issues like reverse rotation, you can swap any two of the ESC cables to change the motor's direction.

General Steps for Soldering:

Prepare the Wires: Strip the ends of the ESC cables and twist the strands to prevent fraying.
Heat the Soldering Iron: Ensure it's at the right temperature (typically around 350°C or 662°F).
Apply Solder: Melt solder onto the motor pins and the wires to form a solid connection. Avoid overheating.
Insulate: Once cooled, use heat shrink tubing or electrical tape to insulate and protect the connections.

By following these steps, you’ll ensure a reliable connection between your brushless motor and ESC. If you encounter any issues with motor direction or operation, adjust the cable connections as needed.
